2007 had been a wonderful year for us…we thought we must end it with a bang. The best way to do that is to shoot some fireworks….heh heh. But before that, our photographers and couple other friends got together and had a yummy “hot pot” dinner.
Did I say it was a HOT POT dinner? It was hot hot hot!!
One of our new year resolutions is to have more delicious food…life is short!
We played a knock off version of Jenga – called “Jumbling Towers.”
There was about 10 firework stands just minutes from the house. This one caught our attention with the “Buy 1 get 11 Free” gimmick.
Alice wanted that one!
We were trying to find a place to shoot off the fireworks and somebody had the bright idea to go behind a shopping center. It turned out they just had a burglary couple nights ago so the cops were standing by. As soon as we pulled-in, the siren went off and two cops surrounded us asking what is going on. Good thing we don’t have any records…they just tell us to go somewhere else…hehehe. I knew our night was off to a great start
Finally we found a nice neighborhood where lots of people are already playing. Here is a group portrait of us — the *almost* criminals with incense ready to shoot.
