Yesterday we went to this place is called Cafe Mezza & Grill to celebrate my birthday. It was Mediteranean mixed with American food, very tasty. I always like to try different kind of food, so I didn’t care if it wasn’t going to be so good even on my birthday. I am glad I took the chance, because it was yum!!

After we came back home, there was already a Birthday Cake waiting for me! Double yum!!
So that was yesterday. I woke up thing morning and thought…oh…birthday is over, time to get on with work. Our calendar says we are meeting three clients today. We met a very nice Asian couple at 6pm, then hand-delivered enlargements to a bride in person around 7pm. The next meeting is in downtown at 8pm. I have no idea where the location is…all Alice said was, “Oh, they called and said they want to meet at some Starbucks on Louisiana.” I took her word for it (cuz I am very gullible). So I blindly followed my GPS’s instructions and went to wherever it wants to take us. After about 20 mins it brought us to the Theater District in front of Jones Hall. Then I said, “There is no Starbucks here…I don’t see one…” Then I guess Alice couldn’t hold it in any longer and shouts, “Happy Birthday!!!” Then I realized I was tricked!!! There is not going to be a meeting…she bought a concert ticket for me! She said she’s been planning for a while and didn’t tell anybody because she doesn’t want anybody to spill it. At that point I thought to myself, “I must be the luckiest guy in the world. I have the best job in the world because it is just full of happiness. And the best part is that I get to do it along side with my lovely wife who loves me with all her heart. How much better does it get??”
I used to play the violin and my idol was and still is Itzhak Perlman. I have heard him on TV, Radio, DVD, even tape, just not in person. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that electronic billboard.
So exciting…can’t wait for him to come on!
There he is…the living legend. It was so magical!!!
Happy Birthday to me!!!!
