We’ve never been to Alden Hotel before. Since Carrie and Greg were getting married there, we all decided that it was a perfect place to meet up so we can chat about their wedding and check out the hotel. It just so happened that there was a marathon going on that day and they blocked all the roads to the hotel. After circling around downtown for 30 mins and calling the hotel 20 times for other possible routes…we gave up. We almost went home too because we didn’t have Carrie and Greg’s contact info. Thanks to Alice’s super cool Nokia phone, she was able to dig through thousands of emails and found their number buried deep in one of them. Finally, we connected. As it turned out, Carrie and Greg are doing the same thing, circling around trying to get to the hotel. I think immediately we had a special connection there. We are so happy they choose us as their wedding photographers. They are so easy going and very wonderful to work with. On top of that, Alice and I got married at Hotel Derek, so Alden Hotel is 110% our kind of hotel![]()
