Hai-Vy + Paul – Houston Wedding Photography

Guess what we were doing on our 2nd wedding anniversary? We were shooting Hai-Vy and Paul’s wedding! No worries, we made up for it with a nice Japanese dinner later in the week.

This wedding was a big family reunion for us, so we wouldn’t miss it for anything! Hai-Vy is a cousin of Vivi, who had a wedding back in 2007 and had used us for their wedding photography. We love it when we can keep it in the family ;)

Hai-Vy and Paul’s wedding started in the wee small hours of the morning!! Okay, maybe not that early, but we had to leave our house at 6:00am so we can get to Hai-Vy’s parents’ house in time for the tea ceremony!!! Guess what time the wedding ended…11:30pm!! We worked our butts off that day…then again, we work our butts off everyday, just not as long…heehee!! It was such a fun wedding. They probably broke the record for having the most crazy/goofy friends at a wedding. We were laughing pretty much the whole time throughout the reception.

Hopefully we can show you what the day was like with just a few pictures. If not, there is always the slideshow at the end. Enjoy!

Here are the vendors they used:

Ceremony Venue: St Michael Catholic Church
Reception Venue: Fung’s Kitchen
Cake: Le Duc Gourmet Bakery & Cafe
Florist: SCF Events
Entertainment: DJ Francis 713.724.7774
Linens: Decor to Remember

We got lucky that day. There happened to be a huge ladder right behind the church so we turned that into a cool prop!

Ummm…you had to be there…it was too funny. The guys were trying to slip an egg down Paul’s pants and crack it while it’s still inside. Hai-Vy was like, “No no!! Stop ittttt!!!” HAHAAAHA!
