For those who have been following us on Twitter and Facebook, you probably already know that we are leaving on Monday morning to go visit San Francisco for a week. One of our brides made a comment on my facebook today, “do you and Alice ever take a break?” HAHAA!! She is so right! If we don’t get out of H Town, we would just work ourselves to death everyday
Since we hardly ever have any weekends, we need to give ourselves forced vacations often to keep us from burning out. We work hard, but play harder!!
So actually, this trip was put together by our photographer and friend, Efro. We are really glad he did because we would have never had the time to plan anything. His girlfriend is visiting him all the way from Taiwan and they wanted to go somewhere fun. I am sorry to say this, but there are not too many things to do in Texas, not to mention it’s like 500 degrees everyday. Anyway, he kept inviting us to come along. We debated about it forever, because you know how we are workaholics and thought that there are always stuff to be worked on (e.g. blog pics and new studio albums) if we stay home. What pushed us over the fence was Alice favorite aunt, Doris. Alice has been wanting her to come visit for the longest time, but she always hesitated because, again, there is not much to do in Texas. As soon as we mentioned the possibility of San Francisco trip, she said, “OK! Yes! Let me go book the ticket tomorrow!! (in Taiwanese of course!)”
So here we are, ready to start packing as soon as some of the last minute details are taken care of. As usual, we are going to be checking our email, but the response is probably going to be very slow. If we are having too much fun, you probably won’t hear back from us until next week, heeehee! Keep checking facebook and twitter though, because I am pretty sure we will be updating our status’. Can’t wait to get on the plane!!!
Here are some pictures of where we will be going. I took these in 2006. Hopefully we will get awesome weather this year so we can top these![]()
