Here is the 2nd part our Japan trip pictures![]()
This is called Okonomiyaki. How it works is that they give you the raw material and cooking instructions, and you get to cook the food yourself! Alice and I agree that it was the most delicious meal we had in Japan. We didn’t know we can cook that well!

They provide an old school cooking timer!

Cover the pancake with the brown sauce and you are done. I caught Alice drooling…HAHA!

We spent most of the time either shopping or eating. I am game for great food, but shopping is like pulling teeth for me. So when Alice is shopping, that’s when I look for a place to sit. I didn’t realize I had the best seat in the house until Alice took this picture to show me![]()

Strange fashion…she must be some sort of celebrity. I just happened to be there and thought it was funny that everybody suddenly gathered around her and started taking pictures.

Shibuya is one of the busiest places in Tokyo. Reminds me of Time Square in NYC.

Not sure what it’s called, but it was so good. They have shrimp, bacon, scallop (the best), and many other flavors.

If you visit Japan, you have to experience riding the light rail during rush hour. When you get on the train, be prepared. You ARE going to get stuffed like a sardine. When the train starts and stops, you don’t even need to hold on to anything because you won’t go anywhere. Shinjuku is the busiest train station in the world with who knows how many levels of train tracks, it’s a good place to pretend to be a sardine.

One of the things to do in Asia is visiting temples. Kind of like when people travel to Europe everybody has to visit the churches. In Japan, you must wash your hand and mouth before you enter a temple.

A wishing tree.

HAHA! This guy says he wants to gain super natural power (like the skill Ryu has in street fighter.)

T-shirts with interesting design and messages like “Weak Body”, “Dreamers”,”I love pudding”,”I love ramen”, “Genius”, etc.

Another must have in Japan is their shrimp and veggie tempera. It’s so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Surprisingly, it’s not greasy at all!

Very cool Christmas decorations inside this new mall in Harajuku.

Looks like a jewelry store, actually it’s a chocolate shop. So cool!

We have never seen anything quite like it. There is not a real main entrance to this clothing store, every door is an entrance!

Inside a mini market. Is that a decoration or food? No idea.

A super modern city, but all the taxis are semi-classic cars. Anybody knows why?

Maybe because we were hungry and in a good mood, this was the best pizza ever besides John’s Pizza in NYC. Shrimp, scallop, squid, and other stuff. Yumm!!

Last meal in Japan. Can you believe tiny Alice ate this all by herself?
