What do you do when a friend is in dire need? You would help them out as much as you can of course!
Carli with Inked Fingers Photography is based in Austin. Last summer, she had a wedding at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. She urgently needed somebody to help her second shoot the wedding but didn’t really know anybody here in Houston. Somehow she stumbled onto our blog and asked if we could help her. We said yes of course! We didn’t have a wedding that day so we decided to help out a fellow photographer in need. Besides, we love making new friends, and what better way to get to know each other through shooting a wedding together. As it turned out, we’ve already met in Austin several years back at a bridal show. We just didn’t remember at first because it was only 5-minute encounter and it was a while back. Fate brought us back together again!
We are so glad to have met Carli and became good friends. Just two weekends ago we “unfortunately” had 4 weddings and was short one photographer. Long story short, one of the brides changed her date, and it happened to fall on the busiest day of this year!! Anyway, we were sweating bullets for quite sometime. Talk about luck, guess who didn’t have a wedding that day? Yup!! Carli was there to rescue us
