Houstonian Hotel Bridal Portrait Photography – Maria

We have never seen an angel before, but Maria is probably the closest thing we are going to get. She is the nicest person you will ever meet; seeing her just brightens our day because she always wears a beautiful smile on her face. Her wedding was held at the Houstonian Hotel, so we were able to borrow the entire place to shoot her bridal session. We especially love the outdoor pictures because the lighting was just yum!!

Hotel Icon Houston Bridal Session Photography – Courtney

Courtney had a hard time deciding where to go for her bridal portrait session. Originally she wanted to have the session outdoors but was afraid that her dress might get too dirty before the wedding. We suggested that she check out some of the hotels in town as an alternative and Hotel Icon turned out to be her top pick!

If you have been following the blog, you probably saw that we did Rachel and Lam‘s formal engagement at the same location. One of the nice things about this location is the variety of background and colors in the different rooms. Not only we were able to use the lobby, we had access to all the best suites and great view of downtown! Check it out!

We started the session in her getting ready room and this image ended up to be the enlargement print at her wedding!

What a lovely bride with super cool Houston skyline! Btw, that pointy old looking building in the back is either built or designed by her grandpa! How cool is that!?

Houstonian Hotel Bridal Photography – Erin

Erin is such a fun bride! She loosened up only a few minutes into the shoot and started pulling out some nice poses. We asked if she had done modeling before. She said no…it’s just that she likes to watch Project Runway and pretend she is one of the models. HAHA!! That is so cute! We think she is a natural You can tell she had a lot of fun during the session, of course we did too!

I don’t why there was a light bulb laying around on the deck. I thought it was a great prop for this picture

Hotel Derek Bridal Portrait – Emily

We started Emily’s bridal portrait session at our favorite hotel- Hotel Derek. A few minutes into Emily’s bridal shoot, Alice and I were thinking the same thing: “Hey this girl knows what she is doing!” It turns out that she used to do a little modeling when she was younger. We just gave her very general directions and she knew exactly where to look, how to turn her head, and where to put her hands. She was awesome! Needless to say, the shoot was amazing!!

It happened to be my birthday that day too I was very lucky that I got to spend my birthday shooting this super hot bride! You can read about my birthday HERE.

Don’t look too long into her eyes or you will melt!!
