Todd and I go way back. We’ve known each other since my computer engineering days in Austin. We’ve done quite a few things together like restaurant hopping, barbecue grilling, Enchanted Rock hiking, DDR dancing, and etc! Over the years we became great friends. True story: ever since we started our photography business, Todd has been following us and have already decided that we are going to be his wedding photographers. This is even before he met Laurel! So Awesome!

By day, Laurel and Todd are both super smart electrical engineers. By night, Todd is a rockstar and Laurel is a rock star girlfriend. Check out his band Second Day Red, they are cool: Second Day Red

It was a beautiful day; we had everything going for us! The tree and grass were so green, the wildflowers were blooming, the weather couldn’t be any better, the perfect light was shining, and we got to hang out with our good looking and fun couple Chinh+Billy! Y’all already saw Alice and Lance’s formal engagement session a few weeks back. We also had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session at some of our favorite locations in downtown Houston. Lucky us, it was a beautiful day– and not to mention the cute and fun couple. Checkout the pictures and you’ll see what I mean!

Ok, I gotta explain this image a little:
Alice said she wanted a picture that’s sexy and also an angle that brings out her pointy chin. At that time we had a couch nearby, so this is what we came up with

There is a really cute story behind this! Alice and Lance both went to single-sex schools in Taiwan. For some reason, at that time many guys and gals from the two (sister/brother) schools were dating each other. Before Alice and Lance met each other, they thought they would never want to date anyone from the other school, because that is just so…typical! Well what do you know? They found out only after they had fell for each other many years later in Lubbock, TX. It’s fate I tell you!
