Houston Fashion Shoot Photography – Evy

I am sure many of you remember Evy from our blog post from a while back. She and her husband, Francisco, had a fabulous outdoor ranch wedding near Houston that got many people’s attention, including magazine editors (more on that later). Evy is a Fashion Stylist and she had asked us to do a quick photo shoot for her so she can have some professional pictures for her newly launched website: http://www.styledbyevy.com We’ve never done anything like it before, but thought it would be fun to try! We thought the pictures turned out great!!

If you girls are wondering, her services include: color analysis, body shape analysis, wardrobe assessment, personal shopping, and etc. Basically her job is to help people look their best regardless on how much they are spending on their clothing and accessories. So ladies, giver her a call if you need help on what to wear to our engagement sessions or an evening out in town!

Lorani’s Bridal Shower

We are back!! Actually, we got back on Sunday. We spent the last few days recovering from jetlag and did a little bit of catching up on emails and work. Boy…a lot gets piled up in just a few weeks!

One thing that is a must-do is the blog. Can’t let that go for too long or we start getting angry fan emails! HAHAA…just kidding, it’s not that bad. But I have heard that actually happening to one photographer. Someone send her nasty notes because she’s been so busy with other work and wasn’t able to keep her blog updated. Can you believe that??

Before we went to Taiwan we shot Lorani and Hector’s wedding in Puerto Vallarta. And WAY before that we shot Lorani’s bridal shower — in mid Nov Thanks to Chung and Regine for covering this one! Wish we were there cuz it looked like a lot of fun This is a bridal shower…so…use your imagination on some of these pictures…HAHAAHA!

Some details

I don’t know Spanish, but google translator tells me that “Mi Despedida” means “My Farewell.” It makes sense, but correct me if I’m wrong.

The Grove Birthday Party: Lorenzo

If you have been stalking our blog, you will remember Cecile and Lorenzo, the gorgeous couple, from earlier this year. About 3 weeks ago Cecile threw a fabulous b-day party for Lorenzo’s big 30th birthday along with a group of their good friends! What a lucky group of friends they have because Cecile treated everyone with delicious food and drinks at The Tree House at The Grove. We have never been there before, but after seeing the pictures it makes us wanna go!

Big thanks to Chung and Regine for covering the party for us while we were shooting Gaby & Tony’s wedding — (blog post coming up next)! We wish we could’ve gone because it sure looked a lot of fun!!!

We are so happy to have the opportunity to take family pictures for this beautiful family. This was a special occasion for them because they don’t get together like this often. It was actually 30 degrees outside when we started shooting. You probably couldn’t guess by looking at these pictures because everybody look SOOO good. My hats off to the young ladies who were brave enough to wear short sleeves! Brrr…..

They came from Canada to visit Betsy. Nobody could figure out why 30 degrees in Texas feels so much colder.
