Hope everybody had a wonderful Valentine’s Day yesterday. If you celebrated Chinese New Year, hope you are stuffed with good food like Alice and me!

Just before Liz and Greg leave for the reception at the Magnolia Hotel, they showed us their “new” wedding ring with excitement!

Bobbies Cake Creations did an amazing job with these cakes! Love the details on the brides cake – simple and elegant! Greg is from New York. Therefore, he got a New York Giants cake!

The Knot Best of Weddings 2010 + Wedding Wire Bride’s Choice 2010

We have something wonderful to share…we just won The Knot Best of Weddings 2010 and Bride’s Choice Awards! We sort of announced it on twitter and facebook last month, but didn’t get a chance to share it with everyone on the blog.

It is a big honor even if we had only won one award, but we actually won both!!!! Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to fill out the survey and put in a good word for us. The bar is set really high for us this year, the pressure is on

Houstonian Hotel Bridal Photography – Erin

Erin is such a fun bride! She loosened up only a few minutes into the shoot and started pulling out some nice poses. We asked if she had done modeling before. She said no…it’s just that she likes to watch Project Runway and pretend she is one of the models. HAHA!! That is so cute! We think she is a natural You can tell she had a lot of fun during the session, of course we did too!

The Grove Houston Wedding Photography – Griselda + Miguel

Today we want to share some of our favorite images from Griselda and Miguel’s intimate wedding at The Grove in Discovery Green. They had a beautiful ceremony on the deck. It was supposed to be a hot summer day, but we got lucky because it was nice and cool.

We were able to take a few bridal portraits just before the ceremony. This gorgeous looking image was made in the stairwell of a parking garage. Yup, that’s how we roll! Why shoot in the studio when there are endless places to shoot on location?

Museum of Natural Science Engagement Photography – Christine + John

We shot Christine and John’s engagement session during one of the hottest days in Houston. Many of you probably know that we usually like to have the session outdoor, but in order to stay away from the crazy heat we decided to have it at the Houston Museum of Natural Science! Boy, we had a blast with the dinosaurs and the gem room!
