Boy!! It has been a crazy November this year. I bet you can tell from the lack of new blog entries for the last 2 weeks. 8 weddings so far and one more to go before the end of the month. Yea, I know, I can’t believe it myself. Even though there are a few things left to do before going to a destination wedding this weekend, we can’t just let our blog sitting idle. It will get lonely!

Sara and Jeff had both their wedding ceremony and reception at the Petroleum Club of Houston. This fun loving, laid-back couple truly enjoyed their wedding. Hermann Park Engagement Photography – Eunice + Daniel

We love Hermann Park! We had our own engagement session shot at Hermann Park and highly recommend it to everyone. It is such a popular place, every time we go there are always tons of people. We get a lot of competitions too because there would be like 50 other photographers there taking either bridal or engagement portraits. Good thing I know some Kungfu! I can kick them if they ever get in my way. HAHA…just kidding!!

People often ask, “Do you ever get tired of taking engagement photos at the same location?” Not really, because every couple is totally different and we can always find something different to shoot since the park is so huge! Although we do have our standard shot list that we go through. After all, people come to us because they love our style, right?

I love everything about this photo. The sun light, tree branches, grass, little pond, soft rim light on Eunice’s wavy hair, kiss on the forehead. It’s magical!

Traditional Korean outfit. So colorful, so cute!!

They love this one so much they got a 20×30 canvas wrap for their house! We love it too! Can you see the heart shape on the left created by the spot lights? Cool huh!

Hermann Park Engagement Photography – Traci + Charles

We had a great time chatting with Traci when we first first met her at the studio. She seemed very easy-going and laid back about everything– and a great sense of humor too! We knew we are going to have a fun time at her portrait sessions and on her wedding day.

So.. a little background about them: Charlie is a doctor, Traci is a nurse, and they met at the hospital. Traci said, “We had a doctor and nurse thing going…you know how that goes…” HAHAH…funny girl

They both love the outdoors. Fishing, hiking, you name it. They especially love golf. Fore!!! I mean, good shot

One of the things we ask our couples to do during the engagement session is to nuzzle their noses. A lot of times we get sweet shots like this — works pretty well!

Downtown Houston Engagement Session – Diandra + Nelson

After we switched to our new blog, we’ve been getting lots of clients coming from google searches. Word Press blog is known for it’s SEO performance so we are pretty happy that it’s doing what it’s supposed to do

Diandra and Nelson was one of the couples that found us on google search. By the time she contacted us, she had already gone through all the portrait sessions on the blog and picked out a specific one she wanted to mimic. She wanted every single location the couple went to and even remembered all the poses they did!! For those who has been following our blog for while, can you take a guess which particular engagement session she fell in love with?
