Here we have a very “interesting” wedding to show you! Jacqueline and Chris had their ceremony held at Grace Presbyterian Church followed by a Chinese Tea Ceremony held at The Downtown Club at Houston Center (so far it all sound very much like other weddings right?). Well, the “interesting” part comes from the wedding reception. Normally, the newlywed would have a DJ, a band, or a photobooth for entertaining the guests, but not this time! They wanted something that nobody else would have so they hired three very special guests from New Orleans for the night. They sure made it a memorable wedding for everyone!

You can tell how much Chris loves Acme Oyster House in New Orleans.

That’s right! They hired professional drag queens from New Orleans!

Everyone had a blast!

We first met Cheryl and Ray about a year and a half before their wedding at a bridal show. Immediately we fell in love with them and knew it was going to be fabulous working together. The wedding ceremony was at the well-known St Anne Catholic Church, followed by a beautiful Hotel Zaza wedding reception in the Ultimate Ransom Room and the Fountain Room. Alia from Belle of the Ball was there to make sure everything was perfect. It sure was flawless!

Sandy and Andrew had a tea ceremony at home for their traditional Taiwanese and Vietnamese ceremony, then went to the magnificent St Paul’s United Methodist Church in the Houston Museum District for their western wedding ceremony. The wedding reception was held at the first modern boutique hotel in the city of Houston, Hotel Derek; it’s just a 10 minute walk from The Galleria. Our neighbor, Village Flowery, located in Rice Village, did a very nice job with all the beautiful flowers as always.
