Johanna and Jimmy don’t need any introductions. By now, their wedding pictures should be all over Texas in bookstores, newsstands, and grocery stores. Basically, anywhere that carries The Knot Texas Magazine. The wedding was so amazing, and it wouldn’t happen without some of the Houston’s prestigious vendors including Alden Hotel, Darryl and Co, Plants n Petals, The Perfect Face, International DJ Sounds, Cakes by Gina, and etc. So many of them wanted their wedding images for their portfolio. We are very lucky to be a part of this incredible day and able to capture all the wonderful moments on “film”!

The wedding preparation started in the morning at the bride’s home. What a gorgeous Amsale gown!

Fung’s Kitchen Houston Vietnamese Wedding Photography – Doan + Andy

Doan and Andy are both architects; they know a thing or two about designing. We thought for sure they were going to pull off an creative and fun wedding. After shooting Doan and Andy’s engagement session and gotten to know them a little better, we knew they were not going to disappoint us They actually made a hilarious movie to show their wedding guest how they met and fell in love with each other. After the tea ceremony, we head over to Fung’s Kitchen for the reception. It’s one of the most popular reception venues for Vietnamese weddings.

Hindu Temple Houston Indian Wedding Photography – Kesha + Neil

Can you imagine what a three-day, 800 guest, Hindu wedding with multiple ceremony was like? It was crazy fun filled with festivities, colors, laughter, good food and endless dancing! There were too many things happening, so we are going to let the pictures do all the story telling.

Destination Wedding Photography Indian Sikh Wedding – Vivian + Navreet

If you think Vivian and Navreet look familiar, I have to say you have amazing memory. We blogged about her engagement session long time ago. You can check out the pictures and how they found us HERE.

They flew us to Michigan to photograph their amazing wedding. Not only the destination wedding was one of a kind, they were the nicest people we’ve ever met. It was great spending almost two full days with everyone. By the end, we couldn’t help but feel like we were part of their family. Oh and the best part was we got to make a vacation out of it and Alice finally saw the world famous Niagara Falls for the first time. Here is the blog post about that trip.

They had a little ceremony in the house for the ring exchange.

They started the Mehndi shortly after while Navreet had the Vatna Ceremony in another room.

Vatna Ceremony! This looks like torture to me, but everybody was having a good time with it!! Navreet has no choice though He needs to be “cleaned” before getting married!

At least the uncles were nice enough to help him rinse all that yellow clay off

While Navreet is riding on top of the horse like a king, everybody danced and paraded down the street letting the whole world know he is getting married! I love it!!

Navreet has to give Vivian’s bridesmaids something, preferably money, before he can step inside for the ceremony.

Petroleum Club Houston Wedding Photography – Sarah + Jeff

Boy!! It has been a crazy November this year. I bet you can tell from the lack of new blog entries for the last 2 weeks. 8 weddings so far and one more to go before the end of the month. Yea, I know, I can’t believe it myself. Even though there are a few things left to do before going to a destination wedding this weekend, we can’t just let our blog sitting idle. It will get lonely!

Sara and Jeff had both their wedding ceremony and reception at the Petroleum Club of Houston. This fun loving, laid-back couple truly enjoyed their wedding.
