Northwest Forest and Kim Son Wedding Photography – Thuy + John

Thuy and John had an outdoor ceremony at the beautiful Northwest Forest Conference Center and restaurant reception at the ever so popular Kim Son Restaurant. This is the first time we worked and met with T-Square Production and absolutely loved them! If you want super creative video on your wedding day, they are it!! At the end of this post you can check out a highlight video they put together.

Thuy’s Vietnamese, John’s Korean. Thuy had to change 3 times throughout the day!

Thuy had to take a little nap before getting ready, I think they went out partying until really late the night before. Who knew getting married was such hard work

That is a perfect groom’s cake for John…because he owns a hamburger restaurant!

The Grove Houston Wedding Photography – Griselda + Miguel

Today we want to share some of our favorite images from Griselda and Miguel’s intimate wedding at The Grove in Discovery Green. They had a beautiful ceremony on the deck. It was supposed to be a hot summer day, but we got lucky because it was nice and cool.

We were able to take a few bridal portraits just before the ceremony. This gorgeous looking image was made in the stairwell of a parking garage. Yup, that’s how we roll! Why shoot in the studio when there are endless places to shoot on location?

Houston Outdoor Wedding Photography – Puja + Rahul

We photographed Puja and Rahul’s legal ceremony at very popular weekend hangout of Houstonians. I am sure a lot of you can recognize the location. I am not going to disclose it though because we might get in trouble because no professional photography is ever allowed in that place. We were lucky that nobody kicked us out! Even if we did though, it wouldn’t be the first time we get kicked out of a place, wouldn’t be the last time either. HAHA! The pictures turned out gorgeous!!

Zihuatanejo Mexico Destination Wedding Photography – Diana + Mark Part 2

The patterns created by yellow and blue sand mixed together is awesome!!

We were so lucky that day to have that incredible sunset!

That’s Stephen giving salsa lesson at the beginning of the party. He claims he’s not a pro…but he sure talked and danced like one!

Stephen is a great teacher. Everyone got the hang of it right away!!

Zihuatanejo Mexico Destination Wedding Photography – Diana + Mark Part 1

I am sure you all remember Alice and I went to Zihuatanejo Mexcio to shoot a wedding during Thanksgiving. A while back we had put up couple of images to give you a taste of what it was like. Guess what? We are going to skip all weddings for now to showoff this one first! Rocio, the wedding coordinator at Casa del Arbo, loves the pictures so much she wanted to put them on the venue’s website and make us one of their preferred photographers. Since the retouching work is done, why not post it on the blog right? No worries though, we will go back to the weddings we skipped after this post.

Thanks to Cindi (our past bride) for referring Diana and Mark to us! And thanks to Diana and Mark for making such an awesome decision to get married at Casa del Arbo and taking us there! This place is paradise– it is located on the side of a mountain that looks down at Zihuatanjo Bay. Anyway, I am not a professional writer, not quite sure how to describe the place to do justice. Good thing we are professional photographers and can take a couple of good pictures, I will let the images speak for themselves.

I went away for a second to see how Alice, Diana, and the girls were doing, this is what I came back to. It was hot, the guys were sweating like crazy. Mark kept his clothes on though. He probably knew that I would come back anytime. This is classic!

Mark has that nervous and happy smile on his face right before seeing Diana in her dress for the first time. First look is one of my favorite parts of a wedding. We recommend it to everyone of our couples! Why? Because we get to capture incredible moments like these for you!

They were soooooooo happy to see each other! It is probably the only time during the day a couple will get to have a little private moment to themselves. Nobody is watching them (well, except us ), they can really express their true selves.

We always get a super romantic shot like this since the couple would be so into each other at the moment

It was a warm day so all the guests had a buri palm fan.

This awesome guitarist set the mood for the ceremony. Very classy!
